The autopsy of Shaniya Davis revealed that the cause of death of the five year little girl was asphyxiation and it also showed that she was raped. Mario Andrette McNeill has been charged with first degree murder, rape as well as first degree kidnapping.
Reports from all over are saying that Mario Mario McNeill has remained in isolation since he surrendered himself last Friday, Nov 13th. after being seen holding the five year in his arms in a hotel. Authorities say that they do not believe that Shaniya Davis was murdered inside of the hotel.
Along with Mario McNeill, Antoinette Nicole Davis, the child’s mother, faces charges for falsifying a police report, human trafficking, and child abuse involving prostitution. Further information surrounding Antoinette’s role in the death of Shaniya have not been made public yet. As the investigation goes forward, it is possible that she may also face additional charges.
